I am currently the 6th grade counselor at Kellogg Middle School.  I have worked in the Rochester Public Schools since 1990. I was an elementary counselor at Bishop, Holmes and Jefferson Elementary Schools for 12 years, and I taught 4th and 6th grades in Iowa for ten years before moving to Rochester. My husband is a Marriage and Family Therapist in Rochester and we have two grown children, a niece and four grandchildren in our family.  I enjoy working with the staff, students and families at Kellogg.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about your students.

I am presently in my 9th year as a counselor at Kellogg Middle School. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio and came to Minnesota to attend St. Olaf College where I earned my B. A. degree in History and Russian Studies.  I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a M. A. T. degree, and began my teaching career teaching Social Studies and Driver Education at Hill-Murray School in St. Paul.
After completing coursework for my counseling licensure from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls I was hired as a counselor at Mayo High School in Rochester.  In 1997 I was selected for the Charter Staff of the newly built Century High School.  I served as a counselor at Century for thirteen years, and my three children all graduated from there.  My activities outside of school include long distance running and reading. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns about your student.
